Nice and chunky book which I bought as a present for one of my sisters who's into mosaics. This book covers quite a lot and gives extra info as well. Well pleased with it.

This book is dispoitning, i do not think that it is worth the money and i think that it is quite expensive compare to other mosaic books which i have bought - plus there are only a few projects most of which are not to my taste and i would not choose to do. It was a shame that this book could not be reviwed as if there was that facility I would have not bought it.

I love this book! It is easy to use, carry around and the spiral ring binder makes it easy to lay open on a table for referencing when you're working on a project.
I like the practical advice on safety and cleanliness. I like that it gives advice on setting up your work space. It's full of little tricks I've used over the years like cutting tile into a paper grocery bag so you don't have shards and slivers all over. It also reminds you not to brush off your work with your hands (I didn't start using a brush for this until I slashed 3 fingers and spent a few hours in the ER!).
This will be the book I tell my beginner level students to start with! It's good practical information.

I went to a Tomboy Tools tile making party. I loved making my first mosaic. I want to mosaic everything in site, and this is a perfect resource. The author starts at the beginning and explains what you need and why you need it. I ordered three books, but this is my favorite. It not only has getting started advice, it has beautiful color photos. Extremely pleased with this purchase.
