Following last year's 'How To Make A Journal Of Your Life' Dan Price has resumed his legendary Moonlight Chronicles, in which he celebrates the practice of mindfulness in the way Frederick Franck does - through drawing. Accompanying Dan's captivating drawings are accounts of his travels, photographs of his children, quotations from books by Herman Hesse and Woody Guthrie, and Dan's observations from the natural world. Dan is truly inspirational in his commitment to mindful awareness, and in the way he makes ordinary things (fire hydrants, salt cellars, cherry pies) into objects of great beauty. Long may Moonlight Chronicles continue.

i journal... everyday so i wanted to see what other people do in "theirs." This is a lovely small book(fits nicely into a handbag)Has loads of quirky sketches in it of just about everything; from a fire hydrant to a go cart.. this man can draw so it might intimidate those persons who cannot. I have less writing in my journal more drawing but this book is lovely, the woman behind me in the bus thought so too and asked to see it! a little pricey but worth it if you enjoy journalling and drawing.

this is a lovely book. Wonderful text, lovely drawings, just perfect. My only niggle is the binding, which in common with many US publications is just not up to the job. When you get your copy carefully bend the front and back covers fully open with a metal straight-edge, along the already scored mark. Then it should be fine.
