My son (aged nearly 3) got this for Christmas along with 10 other books but it was a week before he even looked at any of the others because this captured his imagination so utterly. It hasn't stopped him being scared of the dark, but he loves it and we have to read it every day, sometimes 3 times a day.

This book is great - a lovely way of helping a child who is afraid of the dark, with beautiful illustrations.

My son absolutely loves this book.I got it for him last year when he was 5 but it is still one of his favourites.The illustrations are fantastic,the story is heart warming and just right for bed time.
