If you want to build a model steam locomotive then this book is for you. If you are a raw beginner in Model Engineering some parts can be a little hard to understand, but you don't have to be a Professional to get enjoyment from the book.
It gives you all the information on how to build and run the steam engine along with equations on working out the stresses etc. The engine can't easily be built without a lathe, pillar drill and Milling machine. It is needed effort. The book is a good introduction for anyone wanting to build model steam engines.
