This never really engaged my interest. The chapters "narrated" by Charolotte Bronte addded little to the story of Vinny, Charlotte, Adam and Robert and none of the characters seemed to have much substance. I found myslef skipping passages of text in the hope of finding something more interesting. Not for me.
