Product Description

Michael Beckman is a virulent racist, bigot and Holocaust denier; he is also a prospect for the notorious Skuldmen motorcycle club in Wisconsin. When he learns that his wife is having an affair, Beckman is livid after discovering the man his wife ran off with is African American.

After inheriting his elderly aunt’s home and all of her worldly possessions, in her attic he finds Nazi treasure and an ancient mirror hidden since World War II. Carved in the wood frame at the top of the mirror are the mysterious words Das Portal. It is not long before Beckman discovers that The Mirror is a gateway to another world.

Chased by members of the Skuldmen who want to do him severe bodily harm, and cornered by police investigating the apparent murder and disappearance of his wife and her lover, Michael soon finds himself boxed into a situation from which there is no escape. As a last resort, he turns to The Mirror for salvation.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Mirror: A biker's story 3 Jan 2010
By Victor Shurtz - Published on
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
The first time I read about a portal in time was when I read "The Haunted Masa" by Louis L'Amour. He talked about a place where the Anasazi past through to another time or place. Now, Ed has given us a book where a Biker passes through a portal to another time and place. This book will make you think that such a thing may not be so bad after all. This thing could be real.
As the second book in the series, Ed gives us a book that embraces this theory. What better way to get rid of a failing prospect,or a snitch, or a cheating woman! What better way to expand your territory. ED has given us a book that I found intresting. This book makes us think and invision the possibilities. We don't see much of the SkullMen MC in this book, but we do git a glimce if T-bone and Zipper. I'm wondering where ED's going with the next book. Good job!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not a biker story at all 16 Feb 2011

The story is not great: I think the author could have done better.

But I find the book mostly disappointing because it's actually not a bikers story at all. No bikes, no bikers, no Motorcycle Clubs, just Nazis.

2.0 out of 5 stars Misleading Topic! 9 Feb 2013
By Troy Mason, author of OUTLAW - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book purports to be part of a series about outlaw bikers, but they hardly even appear in the story. It's a sci-fi work about a portal into a world where Germany and Japan won WWII. It has virtually nothing to do with motorcycling at all.
