a very enjoyable book with a new way of looking at the Virgin Mary which is both accessible and inspiring. Dillard writes very well with enthusiasm and precision and never veers into the sentimental or dogmatic. There is no ego behind this book and that makes it so very refreshing. Insights into Mary's life events and feelings are shown as inspiration to us and she is presented as the epitome of the Divine Feminine. After moving away from Catholicism into a shamanic path, I had sometimes missed the connection with Mary. This book shows how women of all paths and religions can connect with Mary and learn from her life. I simply have nothing negative to say about this book at all!

I loved this book. It spoke to me on such a personal level. In my search for (in my best moments) enlightenment and (in my worst moments) some understanding of why I'm in a particular difficulty and where I can find help to deal with it, many times I've read words which have been given in truth and love and have helped me to a greater or lesser extent. This one though, connected to my life in the everyday world, with its everyday trials and disappointments, with such compassion and perception that it was like rubbing a healing ointment directly onto my heart. I couldn't stop reading it and as I read my troubles just seemed to slip off my shoulders. I really liked the way that we get glimpses of life through Mary's eyes as that makes it easy to connect with Her energy and see how it can work in your own life. It's packed with examples, information and instructions which guide you along the path to connecting with Mary's energetic pattern and the meditations, invocations and prayers are powerful tools to change the vibrations around any situation. A truly wonderful book and one I'll be reading over and over again.

I think this is the book I've been looking for all my life. I found it really helpful. I particularly liked the way Sherrie shares her own story and gives examples of difficulties and resolutions in other people's lives. A lot of it had resonance with my own circumstances and made me realize that at any point, any moment, no matter how bad things might get or how down I might feel, all I had to do was reach out and help was there. Through sharing the everyday type of problems Sherrie and the people she has worked with have faced and, given the nature of life, will continue to face and seeing the patterns emerge and the magic of transformation at work, I've started to feel much more positive about resolving the various issues in my own life. There is so much that is uplifting in this book and the meditations and prayers have an immediate effect on lifting emotions and vibrations. I will keep on using the practices I found in this book and would recommend it to anyone. A terrific book.
