I want to review this excellent novel, but I'm not sure how to describe it. Psychological thriller? Amnesiac mystery? All I can say is that it was utterly absorbing and I highly recommend it.

A magnificent piece of fiction, truly engaging, the characterisation is solid and opaque, while the plot unravels slowly from multiple perspectives throughout. A great read.

This is an amazingly visual book. The author's powers of description are by far among the best I have ever read. I cared deeply for the characters and their varied troubles and couldn't wait to find out what happened to them. Fascinating reading
