As a mature student, whose accolades on leaving school was being a Good Truant and an ability to stowaway on River Mersey Ferries, I wish Tony Buzan had written his book during my schooldays. It might have stopped teachers complaining about my doodelling on my exercise books and I MIGHT have just learnt something.
Mind Mapping is a fabulous concept. I had read "Use Your Head" some years ago but the Mind Map Book is something else. It lays down a system which, if used properly, is a Godsend to anyone who is studying.
I've used the system during last semister and revision was more easier task than usual. I had taken ALL MY NOTES in the form of Mind Maps. That meant it was relatively easy to revise. In this book Tony collaborates with his book and Note-Making as well as Note-Taking is explored.
The book is written in an "easy to read" fashion. His use of "nature's architecture" is extremely interesting.
An example in the book is the Boeing Aircraft Corporation who used a 27 foot long mind map, to explain complex Avionics and saved about £10 million. That is itself a good advert for Mind Maps.
I am now trying to get my colleagues at work to use the same methods.
You'd give me fifteen quid if I could get you through that exam, wouldn't you? Well give Amazon that MONEY NOW and having bought Tony's book and followed his principles, that exam will be that much easy!
Positive thought, positive deed POSITIVE ACTION!
