A really good read 11 Sep 2011
The Middle Temple Murder started off a bit like a Sherlock Holmes story but ended up more like John Buchan. It is a mystery full of intrigue with many twists and turns, and an exciting finale. It is very well written and highly recommendable.

An intriguing book, with many plot twists to keep your interest. Although the language and some of the references used by the characters is somewhat obscure, the overall story is simple enough to follow. The book in itself is captivating, although the number of different characters, and their name changes, can make the story a little incoherent. In addition, the ending, and climax to the story, is too short. However, overall, the book is definitely worth reading if you like murder mysteries, especially as it is free.

The ending wasn't quite satisfying because of its abruptness, but it wasn't a bad little book. I wouldn't rush to get it, but if you need a fun read, it'll do the trick.
