The Merchant of Death is a book about an ordinary school boy called Bobby. He was good at sport, good looking and popular. His Uncle Press came andtook him across time and space in a flume, across to a place calledDenduron. Once there he starts his epic quest to protect each territoryagainst the evil Saint Dane. Battling vicious quigs, knights in armour andthe cold hearted Bedoowan people.
I liked this book because it wasfilled with suspense and action. It was creative and funny at the sametime. It twisted and turned so you would never know what was going tohappen next. The author described everything in perfect detail so youcould almost see what it would be like standing there in Denduron. Youcould tell the author had a wild imagination and used it in the best waypossible.
I would recommend this book to anyone who was older than tenor is interested in action stories. Particularly fans of the four AlexRider books or those who enjoyed the thrills of Lord of the Rings becauseit is just a fantastic adventure. The strangeness of everything in thisbook is similar to the Harry Potter books. Overall just a really greatbook definately worth reading.

"Pendragon-A Merchant of Death" is just a fantastic story from this very fantastic writer. I just loved it.
"Pendragon" is about a fourteen-year-old boy, Bobby, who has a wonderful life in America and a super-cool uncle on top. The problem is that his super-cool Uncle Press is a "Traveller" who vanishes through "flumes" to get to different worlds ("territories") by travelling through time and space.
Now Uncle Press has taken a very reluctant Bobby with him to save a territory called Denduron.
My review might be very straight forward but the book is much more adventure and fun packed with a complex plot and an amazing climax.
A must read for fantasy book lovers! I just can't wait for part two, " The Lost City of Faar"!

The Pendragon series is the first series that I can truly invision what is happening and the worlds around him. I can relate to many of his hobbies, and I am anxiously awaiting the next book.
