2.0 out of 5 stars Chicago Architectural Gem 5 May 2007
By John B. Archibald - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
The Merchandise Mart is one of the worthier of Chicago's architectural gems, and could stand getting a more extensive treatment than this small, slim volume offers.

Upon consideration, it's odd that no volume has yet been published, specifically concerning the Art Deco Architecture of Chicago, of which this building is most decidedly a prime example.

Still, in the absence of anything else, this volume will have to do. At least, it has but little competition.
