An easy-to-read book about BDSM from the viewpoint of the dominant partner.
However, it's not made at all clear to the potential buyer that the focus of this book is the gay (male) leather community. Although people from other fetish lifestyles could also find this book interesting, it's written mostly for the benefit of leathermen and there should really be some indication of this in the title or description.
In some places, the author has a tendency to allow his personal opinions of particular practices to influence his writing a little too much, but this is easily spotted and can be taken into account.
Would be useful for anyone starting out in the lifestyle. However, there's not much here that would be of use to the experienced player.

I wasn't looking for an erotic novel but for a book explained, the philosophy behind this way of living, the book does explain with realism lots of aspects you wouldn't have thought initially. It's a very recommendable book and does not matter the sexual orientation or even if you are a mistress would be useful to you.

I brought this as a gift for someone, they said it was okay but it would of been good to be able to get more detail as to the areas it covered.
