The manual was not what I expected, it was devoted to film photography with not a mention of digital works. In its time it was a superb manual which I would have found very helpfull back in my darkroom days.

The single most complete manual of photography!

I've had this book for years and find myself refering back to it time and again. It is complete and comprehensive and very technical. This is a great book for advanced photographers or anyone who needs to know "why?"
