Book Description

27 May 2008
How many times have you and your friends asked one another these questions without ever coming up with any good answers? Your girlfriends just tell you what you want to hear. At the end of the day, the only person who can give you insight into man problems is—that’s right—a man! But guys have hidden agendas. What guy would give up all his dating advantages by spilling the goods?

Steve Santagati would. A self-confessed serial dater and Bad Boy, Steve is telling all for the benefit of womankind. Every guy is at least part Bad Boy, and in The Manual, this prime specimen reveals what every woman needs to know to counter Bad Boy tactics, both amateur and professional. Steve is never condescending or callous, but honest, perceptive, and street-smart. His guidance is straightforward and his insights are dead-on, giving women tools they can immediately put to work.

Discover what you may not want to know but need to know about:

•The Heart of the Bad Boy (i.e., the nature of the beast)
•The Male Mind: how he sees you and how you can make this worko your advantage
•Guys on the Hunt: the male modus operandi, from the grocery store to Home Depot
•When Boy Meets Girl: how to handle dating, from flirting to “sext” messaging to learning his weaknesses
•Mating: so you’ve got him . . . should you keep him?

Why learn from a Bad Boy instead of, say, a psychologist? Because there’s no replacement for “in the field” experience. You’ll benefit from (and laugh at) stories of real things Steve has done in relationships with women as well as of women turning the tables on him when he least expected it. The book also includes a question-and-answer section, in which Steve explores some of the toughest dating issues.

To understand Steve is to understand the Bad Boy, and that will take you a long way in understanding all men. Find out how much more fun dating can be when you get the upper hand on Bad Boys . . .
for good.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting 3 July 2009
Format:Paperback
Interesting and quite amusing in parts, it does give a few tips on how to play a bad boy at his own game. I'm not convinced there isn't too much emphasis on game playing however, although it does touch on the need to develop your sense of self worth which I feel is the most important message. The tips on how to dress are also a little 'off track' for the more mature lady, so I'm tipping this book is aimed at the younger end of the market. All in all, I wouldn't say it was the most enlightening self help book I have read, but it gave me a couple of interesting pointers and a few chuckles.

A really good book, gives you some sort of understanding into the mind of a man. Some of the advice can be put into good use to benefit a women in a variety of ways. Written by a man with great experiences and you can always relate his stories to a man you know. Had me laughing, had me thinking ow no is that how they think. However over all it was a very intresting book, Well done Santagati, written better than any one with education!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting read 26 Jan 2008
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is great because it is a male perspective. Most books on the subject are written by women. Ultimately they all compliment each other, but I feel that this book more than any other promotes just being yourself. Don't play games, just be true to who you are. So many other books promote 'rules'. This just gives you good advice on how to be the best you can be whilst looking after yourself in a relationship. I'd definitely recommend it.

OK, so I am giving 3 stars as the book actually contains some very useful information (don't jump to conclusions here, read further on) even though the title is misleading. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent guide to win-win outcomes in bad boy dating

Full of useful information. What marks this book out from others of the genre is its very detailed advice on what to wear to attract a man (see chapters 7 to 15).
