Brilliant 60's spy series that is unfortunately unavailable in it's entirety outside the U.S. I imported the series from the U.S. last year but before I knew of it's availability I also bought this series of U.N.C.L.E. movies In truth they are two part episodes from the four tv seasons edited together for European cinema release during the series heyday.Nevertheless these movies are very entertaining and are sure to appeal to all fortysomethings It's not a recent release so the extras consist of pdf documents I can't elaborate as i've never viewed them. The movies are good fun and don't take themselves too seriously
and at the current asking price,under 9 pounds represent good value for a 5 movie box-set.A thought to leave you with both the leads in the show are still working in mainstream tv Robert Vaughn plays Albert in Hustle and David McCallum plays Ducky Mallard in NCIS what other 40 year old show can claim that? If you liked U.N.C.L.E. first time around your on a winner here if your a first time viewer try your luck you may be surprised

Although not the entire series of UNCLE films, I wish it was, some of them are still enjoyable for uncle fans. Not too be taken too seriously enjoy them for what they are just a bit of fun.

The person who didn't get that these were the films obviously didn't read the box cover image. As I teenager in the 80s I got hooked on the Man from Uncle films when they were shown on BBC2 at dinner time. Quite silly, lots of fun, bit of edge of the seat and always saving the world and, I confess, fell in love with David McCallum. I did see some of the series when some time later they showed some of them in the middle of the night. These were also good. I wish they were available in UK!

dvd set in very good condition,all dvds operational and very watchable overall very satisfied.a very avid fan of the series so was excited and pleased to have found it on amazon.

oh boy great memories

Great fun!
The Man from Uncle was a copy of 007 but it is much funnier and simply great fun! The TV series is wonderful and I have several VHS cassettes with the episodes. Read more

Be warned! This box set is NOT what it seems. It is NOT the first TV series. It is in fact 5 feature length spin off feature films!
