5.0 out of 5 stars I read this and loved it 27 Sep 2011
Format:Paperback
I am 8 years old and read this book on my own. Before I read this book I didn't know it would be this good. It was very adventurous, especially when Billy arrives in New York. Also, the money-box is amazing! I liked the way it was written and I couldn't get my nose out of it!

I would recommend this to everyone, especially to people who like adventures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Both child (6) and parents loved this one 14 Dec 2010
Format:Paperback
Enough of a story to hook a 6 year old boy and his parents. My son was able to read this independently with a few challenges along the way. He said he liked the way the story built through the chapters. Explores some more grown up concepts, but nothing too deep and with an inevitably happy ending. This is the book that gave my son the reading bug!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for all ages 6 Feb 2011

This was the first audio book we got from the series and we ended up buying all in the Magical Children series. All books start with the main character having some problem in life but there's always a happy ending. My daughter and I particularly love Mighty Mama, she is a strong and funny character. This is my favourite of all. I wish there was more.
