Product Description

This is a tale of Neria, who works in the House of Death, helping her father to make the mummies. Neria enjoys her work, but when the pharaoh dies, it all goes into overdrive mode. Everyone is so busy that Neria is given the responsibility of mummifying the pharaoh's cat, to accompany him to the Afterlife. The trouble is, Neria is too squeamish to kill and gut the cat. Can she find a way to save the cat - without being caught and punished?

Ok 2 Mar 2008
Format:Paperback
Terry Deary is a really good author who writes about history. He has written the very famous series of Horrible Histories and he has written another series of books called the Egyptian Tales as well as a series of Tudor Tales. This story is a fictional tale but it has an Afterword which explains all the Factual parts in the story and some of them are really interesting! The Egyptian Tales series (and the Tudor Tales series) are full of exciting and funny stories which are based on real events! I would absolutely, really rate this book 6/10 and I would recommend it to older readers aged from 7 - 11.
