If you don't have a lot of time to research and prepare, this is an ideal book. It gives you a good summary of everything you need to know before applying to business school. Good insights on how admissions committees may weigh the different parts of the application depending on the candidate pool and your own experience and background. There is a useful chapter on financial planning and funding options, which I wasn't able to get easily through an internet search.

It helps understand how business schools may look at candidates and applications when making the admit decisions. Useful step by step guide in filling in the application form. I also liked reading the different student profiles and quotes of alumni from different schools, it helped to me to get an understanding of their experiences.
