I initially used the lunch box diet for weight loss, but it soon provided a lot more than that, my energy levels have been through the roof ever since. Finally a diet where I can eat all the time and I've found my snacking has dropped, because when I used to go for crisps and chocolate, I now reach for my box, it's just so handy and probably the easiest diet I've tried.

I love this diet because I'm an active gym goer and it works brilliant for me, the `Active Carbs' section brings me the carbs I need when I'm working out and it fills me up all day. I'm not really much of a diet person, but this is more of a healthy way to eat and the whole lunch box thing makes it so handy to take around, I use a cooling bag in my car when I travel. It's also fantastic for balancing my blood sugar which needs to be watched carefully. It's a friendly book and the supporting diet community really makes a difference as I've made quite a few pals in there.

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt I had to for this. I've also been using the lunch box diet from the web ebook and it's helped me lose 2 stone of weight I just couldn't ever shift! My diet was previously lacking in lots of things, but now know more about what I need to eat and understand how my body works a lot better. I love just not getting those slumps because my meals are smaller. What's more it can go everywhere with me and sits nicely in my office fridge when I'm not out and about!

The book is really colourful, and the recipes are delicious. It's well written too, and funny, especially the big about the Bear wearing the backless cocktail dress, that made me laugh out loud!

I didn't think that a diet could be so fun and this is definitely going to keep me on track all the way through 2009.
