.. I totally adore this series! All of the authors are writers that I enjoy individually, being a hge history-mystery buff. I was gripped from the very start of the series and it was with great anticipation that I picked up this latest offering.
I would love to know how they construct the book - do they all take turns in writing in sequence so that the next author can include references from the previous chapter? It's fascinating.
To be honest, the central incidents are so intriguing that I could quite happily read a book twice the length with an even bigger collection of authors, spanning an even greater variety of eras.
The last chapter this time was really quite startling, but still fitted well into the general scenario, giving good pause for thought.
