Product Description

After reading most of Modesitt's books to date, I found this a real let down. The characters were shallow, the plot weak and l found the ending rushed and abrupt.
To date I have always raced through his stories and could not wait for the next one in the series, however this time I am not in the least bit interested in what happens next.

Having enjoyed previous Corean Chronicles I was very disappointed in this one. A slight story padded out a bit.It is readable- but it doesn't take long.

This must be the worst book that LE Modesitt has ever written, nothing happens till the last 30 pages and then is it worth it.

Yet another outstand fantasy from Hobbs. In The Lord Protector's Daughter a fantasy world is built allowing the reader a real escape from the reality of everyday life.

Its a pity to see a great storyteller run out of ideas but continue to publish for the glory/money; left me sad.
