Product Description

From the Author

The Lonely Giraffe was written to illustrate that no one should be an outsider. No matter how tall, or short, or thin, or with purple spots on their faces! Everyone is equal and everyone should be treated with respect. You never know how someone can help you or what good friends they'd make until you make a friend of them. Include everyone in what you do. Not only will you make them feel better, but you'll feel better too! The lonely giraffe was all alone, but when he helped the other animals they realised just what a good friend he made. Maybe it's something that you could try too... Great illustrations show the story in a way that will leave every reader feeling good. A collector's edition that will last a lifetime and be read and enjoyed by every child - young or old - in the world-wide family of readers. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

I purchased this book as my 5 yr old granddaughter loved the cover illustration, on reading her the book I realised that not only was it a wonderful story but it also had a moral ie make friends whenever you can, you never know when you may need them. I congratulate the Author on writing such an excellent story and look forward to his next publication.

The lonely giraffe is a MUST for early learners and kids everywhere! A straight-forward early reading book with all the ingredients for a good read to - and by - children and parents that appreciate a well written tale. An honest story with old fashioned values sadly missing in much of today's fashionable 'fantasy' writing! Fantastic illustrations and a sound moral. Who could ask for more? A great read and one to add to any child's collection. It will be treasured for years.
