You might be familiar with this book from the recent film made of it. I haven't seen the film yuet, but I imagine they changed a whole lot, or left a whole lot out, as with the case usually with book to film translations.
Well, after digging around in some old boxes a while ago I came across a very tattered, beat-up (and well loved) copy of The Little Vampire, complete with my signature and a number 8 (presumably my age the last time I read it) scribbled inside.
I sat down to read this long forgotten book, and by the end of the evening I had been on a fantastic journey!
This book is a must-read for any child, or anyone indeed who likes a good read (I'm 23). The characters are likable to the point you wish you actually were Tony, the boy who befriends a young Vampire child and his smitten younger sister.
This book is the first in a series, and I can guarantee that anyone who reads the first will be hunting for the next books.
