This book tells you what treasure baskets are, how to create them, how to use them with babies and young children and how to store and care for them. It gives different categories of baskets, ranging from ones for young babies (eg the touch basket, baskets with rolling items) to ones for toddlers and older (eg with different smelling objects, musical items, light and colour, magnetic basket, 'feely' items etc etc). A really excellent resource and one I'm sure I'll use again and again.

I love this book we have used many of the themed ideas for treasure baskets.It has been especially helpful to help us include children with various individual needs this year.
As an early years practitioner I knew the benefits of treasure baskets, I had put together treasure baskets to give as presents to three new mums but knew they would think what a weird present, but by adding this little book it explains the joy babies have when exploring a variety of natural materials. A must for any new parent.
