Review

This is a wonderful collection of stories, which I very much enjoyed. --Peter Fenwick, fellow of the Royal College of psychiatrists and author of The Truth in the Light

This is a very nice collection of intriguing cases. I hope it gets a lot of attention. --Jim Tucker, University of Virginia Division of Perceptual Studies and author of Life Before Life

I like this little book a lot. It's a perfect hand out for past-life clients, or especially sceptical friends. --Thelma Freedman, Secretary of the International Board for Regression Therapy

Product Description

How did a Russian scientist left for dead in a mortuary for three days make contact with his neighbor's sick baby... and wake up with a cure that all the doctors had missed? What about the Indian girl with memories of a past life... who astonished her former husband by reminding him how he had taken money from her just before she died? Or the Australian woman who recalled past-life details of a carving on the stone floor of a small cottage... and was able to locate it under decades of chicken droppings when brought to England for the first time? These amazing reports are not new age mumbo jumbo. They have all been properly recorded and investigated by professional scientists. And they will make you think long and hard about who you are and what you are doing here.

It was this amazing little book that gave me the kick in the pants I needed to learn more about the spiritual way forward for our species. I heard Ian Lawton speak at a meeting in Bournemouth last year on the subject of life after death. I was impressed by his insistence on focusing only on cases where there is genuinely strong enough evidence to support the claims of past life experiences. I was likewise impressed by his rational approach to the subject of spirituality, which helped me to realise that that science and spirituality are not mutually exclusive ... in fact quite the opposite. I bought a copy of his Little Book of the Soul at least partly attracted by its small size, not being someone who finds much time for reading. Fortunately it is an extremely easy read, and its contents convinced me that I just had to investigate the subject further. To ignore the exciting implications of Ian's research would have been downright stupid. I went on to read his Big Book of the Soul, and then his two latest books Your Holographic Soul and The Future of the Soul. For the first time in my life I feel as though I have at least some grasp of the enormity of the exciting opportunity that lies before us all, and I have Ian Lawton to thank for that. If you (or others you care about) still need to be convinced about the existence of life after death then get this great little book and see where it leads you. The subtitle of the book says it all ... true stories that could change your life. Worked for me.

For a little book, this one packs some punch! It's a little gem of a book that will do wonders to dispell any doubts about the afterlife and reincarnation, all backed up with clear, well-researched evidence. Having bought and read a copy on recommendation from a friend, I then bought another 4 copies to give to more sceptical members of my family and friends, who found it an enlightening and enjoyable read. It's conveniently pocket-sized and easy to read, in a nice storybook style, with helpful discussion sections and some open self-disclosures from the author, which give the book an appealing human touch.

But most importantly, this little book puts across rational evidence for some BIG spiritual messages, e.g. that the soul lives on after physical death, that we have many reincarnations which enable us to learn and grow from experience, that there is no 'judgement day' after death, and that we have free will and full responsibility for our own life plans and the choices we make. The author also goes on to discuss soul consciouness with an interesting new concept of the soul as a hologram of the Source, or God. Ian Lawton's philosophy, aptly named 'rational spirituality', provides a much needed link between science and spirituality, and this little book really deserves to reach a wide audience.

Short and Sweet 31 Jan 2012

This book contains a selection of short stories about those who remember their past lives. It seems to appear as if all those souls have been reincarnated into random new lives and not into the same families as per the information found in other books such as Dr Brian Weiss. One lady remembered her previous family who were still alive and did not live far away, so how can we believe that we come back to our loved ones.
The best way to describe this book is short but sweet!
