I love little books that you can stick in your handbag and take with you anywhere. The Little Book of Mindfulness - 10 Minutes a Day to Less Stress More Peace by Patrizia Collard does what it says on the cover. Reading just a little bit each day is enough to make you stop and think and enables you get through whatever it is that is causing you stress. Take my advice, buy it now and you will wonder how you ever managed without it!

I am a Mindfulness teacher and always on the look-out for simple, accessible practices for myself and my students. This little book can fit into a pocket of a handbag, so is very portable. Take it to work, on journeys, on holiday, have it handy for when you are unwell. The practices are beautifully clear and the illustrations delightful. Patrizia Collard's depth of experience as a teacher and practitioner shines through. I love this little book.

This book is well written and concise. It's small enough to keep in your bag and dip into whenever you want to. I have found it invaluable in helping me to relax and unwind. It also helps in controlling pain and is as good if not better than medication.

Beautiful little book. Easy to understand. Lots of exercises that can be adapted as needed. Highly recommended as an introduction to mindfulness. Small enough to carry around in a handbag too.

This is an excellent little book on the subject of Mindfulness. I have attended an eight week course, but I believe this book is even more effective than that. The subject is encapsulated brilliantly in an easily digestible format. In my opinion, this book should be offered for sale to all people attending the NHS Mindfulness courses. It has a durable cover and can be popped in a jacket pocket (or handbag as a previous reviewer has noted) and be there for reference any time required. This book can make a real difference and it easily deserves the five stars I have given it.

Brilliant little book and not too much jargon as opposed to the other two books on the same subject. The book with the most varied practical exercises in my opinion and fits in my hand bag should I wish to take it away. I can't see how the other authors can say that it is a 7 week process as I don't think stress and anxiety can just go away in a limited time. This book does not give an actual time limit.so I would continue to use it indefinitely. Funnily enough another book was recommended by my doctor but when I see her next I will point out that this is the better one.
