As well as an international bestselling author, he is a businessman, meditation teacher and director of a medical research foundation. Paul is known as the 'guru of calm'. He has created a string of bestsellers on the topic of calm - ranging from his introduction to meditation, The Calm Technique, to Instant Calm and Calm at Work, through to the book that inspired the 'little book' phenomenon that swept the world, The Little Book of Calm. These have been translated into dozens of languages. He is also the author of Perfect Balance. What they say about Paul Wilson "The world's coolest man." NBC TV (US) "Wonderfully free of new age jargon. For once we're not disappointed." Triple J FM "Nothing like the usual pedlars of inner peace." Sydney Morning Herald "Plenty of new age gurus claim they have the answer to a stress-free life... but when the word comes from a 45-year-old [businessman], who hustles each day in the tension-packed world of advertising, the advice somehow has more credibility." Format: Paperback
A well written book containing a comprehensive, accessible review of many key stress management techniques. In comparison to similar books of its kind, (for example "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff") the book gives more emphasis to technique, rather than "positive thinking". Nevertheless, the tone is engaging, and the points made thought provoking and practical.

Have this book on-hand at all times throughout your working day. Just pick it up, let it fall open and you will find a little gem of inspiration that rings true for you today. Some you may know, some you won't - and some of these may help your calm forever.

A great surprise was that this "Work" version of "The Little Book of Calm" was properly bound and printed on good quality paper. That may be a boring thing to note; but it is at least calm. Each tip can make you so calm that you never get to even count how many tips there are (for there are no page numbers!). I love adding my own little notes in pencil because each tip really has loads of space surrounding it, to assist me in prepping for future events. As the "Guru of Calm" Paul Wilson beats city-based American business-people hands-down, in the self-help market.
