First time our book club has ever really benefited from a reading guide. We can delve deeply into a book on our own, thank you.
However, this is a very rich and complex novel, so after we read it, we decided to see "what we missed." Well, we missed
enough that it reopened a whole on-line discussion of the book all over again! Highly recommend it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Read! 25 Jan. 2015

Such a good book! For me, it was a page turner. The plot was like nothing else I've ever read. I have a new appreciation for those people who choose to live the life of a lighthouse keeper. What a unique life!
The moral dilemma presented was also unique. The right decision was made in the end. So emotional, though! I loved the characters!

This story kept me intrigued all the way through & wondering what would happen next. It presents a moral dilemma for one to ponder & think about what my choices would have been.
4.0 out of 5 stars The Light Between Oceans 12 May 2014

I like this book. I am about 2/3 finished. It is an easy read. I good plot. Without giving anything away it is about a married couple who have suffered through 3 stillborn births when an infant shows up on their island and they decide to keep it and raise it as their own assuming the family of the child have all drown; but they have not and the story is based after than on doing the right thing and what is the right thing to do. I am enjoying it.
