this series of books is the most amazing series i have ever read! rachel riley is absolutely hilarious and i love reading about her. she has a complicated life but sometimes its really funny to laugh at it but then, you get sucked in. this whole series is a must read for girls around my age (11-15), its amazingly funny and i have enjoyed every single edition to this series. a must buy!

My daughter (aged 11) had read the previous book and desperately wanted to read the rest of the series. This is just as funny as the others, very appealing to a young teenager (Rachel Riley, the main character, is 13 or 14 I think) but the whole family had fits of giggles as it is so witty and full of stylish humour and sly jokes for the adults. My son aged 13 is now grabbing the books to catch up, for the insight into girls and social life (Goths, chavs, vintage, school politics etc).

This book is very funny and well written. I wouldn't go as far as to say that every page will have you laughing, however the book as a whole is very funny. As much as you may enjoy this book I would not recommend buying the follow on books. You will most likely be disappointed as the second book is very much a repeat of the first book. Although the end of the first book leaves you on a cliffhanger, as desperate as you may be to find out what happens next it is not worth buying the next book. If you just read this book then it is enjoyable and funny and will make you feel happy. I would recommend this book for 13 + but for sure, no younger.
