This book will be of interest to all Lexus LS owners as it outlines how the marque was succesful when it had to break new ground in a new market for the company. An interesting example of how to create a market success against all the odds, based on intelligent design, great technology and subtle marketing.

I just started reading this book, and if you're a Lexus fanatic, you'll love it. This isn't some 3rd party writing this, but from people directly involved w/ Lexus/Toyota. Denny Clements is one of the authors. Excellent stories (so far), and pics (beautiful!)

I am a huge Lexus fan and this book satisfied my every expectation! I now value my Lexus even more than I did prior to reading it. Lexus went above and beyond that of its competitors to ensure their first vehicle, the LS, would be a success and appealing to the luxury car buyer. Their precedence in approach to customer service is outstanding and I believe it to be a large part of their success today. I have a new understanding of Lexus' slogan "The Passionate Pursuit of Perfection" and have determined Lexus to be a redefinition of luxury. I highly recommend this beautiful coffee table edition book to the enthusiast, owner, or individual interested in how Lexus has come to be a leading dominate force in the U.S. luxury car market.

This is a competent corporate autobiography written for Lexus owners who want to feel good about their buying decision. It is written with full cooperation if not sponsorship of Lexus. It focuses almost entirely on the LS 400 and its top of the line successors. The ES models are ignored since they don't match the storyline of unparalleled luxury and status.

It is beautifully laid out and easy to read. Just don't expect to find any technical information or stories of problems and internal conflicts.
