Format: Paperback
This is a well-written and well researched book with good illustrations. Henry Schofield has drawn on both his own PhD. research and the practical solutions developed by The Vincent Wildlife Trust 'in the field', combined with some excellent bat photography and diagrams. The book will appeal to people interested in the natural history of this endangered animal, owners and occupiers of lesser horseshoe bat roosts, whether they are knowledgeable about bats or not, since terms are all clearly defined. It will also be of great help to Natural England staff, Local Authority Planners, Ecological Consultants and Licensed bat roost vistors, etc. who are looking for practical advice on mitigation and enhancement measures which can be undertaken to aid the survival and well-being of lesser horseshoe bats.
