I found this book to be a useful resource for general knowledge, but it lacked lots of important information that is needed to properly keep leopard geckos. The author's style of writing is refreshingly free of overly technical terms and "scientific" language, so this book would be appropriate for younger keepers or those who want only the most elementary information. The book make numerous glaring ommissions on proper care though, while adding extraneous information that does little to help. An example of this is the 3 page discussion on types of heaters that never even mentions at what temperature geckos should be kept. Overall, it's not a bad book but it was frustrating for me to try and find detailed technical information that simply was not included. Although it does well to introduce leopard geckos to the novice, this book is definitely not a stand alone resource for the serious keeper. If you are searching for a good book on Leopard Geckos buy "The Leopard Gecko Manual" by Philippe De Vosjoli instead...
