ok, just to clear things up this box set contains "The Dark Elf Trilogy" including "Homeland", "Exile" & "Sojourn".
This collection of books were written after "The Icewind Dale Trilogy" but take place before the events of "The Icewind Dale Trilogy". I would recommend reading "The Dark Elf Trilogy" first, it simply makes more sense that way.
Anyhow, I would recommend these books to anyone looking for an enjoyable read & whilst some may say that R.A Salvatore's language is simple or he doesn't add much detail when compared to authour's such as J.R.R Tolkein but i feel thats whats make them so enjoyable, as a comparatively light read.

one of the best fantasy series i've read. Detailed environments that seems so alive you could be standing there yourself, and characters that are easy relate to and understand

This is absolutely a must for everyone.
I finished reading these three books in less then
4 days. The stories are amazing and from the first moment
you meet the main character 'Drizzt' you are hooked.
As soon as I finished this box set, I ordered the 2nd and 3rd
set of books. I'm already halfway and I still can't stop reading.
I'm already looking forward to ordering the next set.
Like I said, this is a must for every fantasy reader.
You won't be disappointed.
