My daughter, who is now five, has been enjoying this piece of software for about six months. The characters are familiar from the Arthur books and TV series, and behave in the same way - DW has the messiest activity, firing a water cannon at dragons! All the activities are fun but educational in some way, such as developing mouse skills guiding a mummy through the Pyramid Maze, or starting to recognise words, both spoken and written. There are several levels, though we haven't yet got very far through them! There is also an activity which my daughter thoroughly enjoys - painting a backdrop in the theatre, decorating it with stamped images and then printing it out. Altogether a good buy.

My son aged 6 loves these games too, particularly one where you piece together a dance for Arthur from isolated actions. He also enjoys pitting his wits against the characters on a multiple-choice quiz (though some of the questions are rather more suitable to American than English players because of the vocabulary). Certainly not too taxing for a 6 yr old to have a bit of fun with.
