Tom Harper novels are usually the 'can't-put-it-down' variety. `Lazarus Vault' is no exception, it is even more suspenseful than `Lost Temple' and like it weaves an intricate plot between past and present - this time with a central theme of banking world skullduggery across the ages. Totally perfect choice for a long flight, nights when you can't sleep, or just need to chill out. So far everyone I know who has read this new work has done so in one sitting, some doing all-nighters to manage it.
Also like other Harper work it is rich in intriguing historical detail. As someone once so aptly said of Harper " Da Vinci, but much better history! Harper has the power to totally transport the reader into other times and other places.
