For those who enjoyed the Mayor of Lexington Avenue, this is even better.
I will not spoil anything for those who will read it, but this really does read well. There are no real twists in the story that would make you think 'wow I did not see that coming' but this does not take anything from the book.
I wanted to carry on reading this but lunch and sleep and work got in the way, it could easily be read within a couple of days with good time being given. Pick it up, give it a read and then eagerly anticipate his next installment.

Now I know what unputdownable means. This books flows so well, it only took me 1 day to finish it. It is actually 2 books in one, in the first part the protagonist is a death row advocate; and in the second part he works with an unusual business partner to defend a small time criminal in a murder trial. Excellent

I loved this book - it gets your interest right from the start. You want the characters to succeed. It is almost two books in one as the first part is more about one of the characters but in the second part they intertwine. If you like crime, legal thrillers and a bit of suspense and even some romance then this is for you.
