Worthy but disappointing as a film but essential for anyone who cares for our wildlife heritage. Lots of film of middle-aged men but very little of the wonderful animal itself and even less of it in the wild. The film tells us of the largest wild animal still extant in Britain. These cats, twice as big as the domestic cat, have been in our islands for thousands of years but now there are only a few hundred left in the remotest parts of the Scottish Highlands. The film tells the story of the struggle to preserve Britain's own tigers and the part played by the Scottish Wildcat Association (www.scottishwildcatassociation)
