Book Description

5 Nov 2007
The seals are weakening. And if the last Guardian is not there to secure them, an Evil shall be set loose upon the world not seen since its beginning. Ever since the time of the Spanish conquest over the Maya, the family of Juan Guerro has guarded the lost city of Mosh Chaltun, concealing its mysteries as they kept watch. But now an American archeologist has opened Mosh Chaltun, and secrets long buried are beginning to stir. Lacking the knowledge of his ancestors, Juan and the few people allied with him must find a way for him to stand alone against the darkness that is coming. For if Juan falls, there is no one else. And if the last Guardian falls, it will-literally-mean hell on earth.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Book 22 July 2008
By W. Remes - Published on Amazon.com
I liked the book...It got a little long in the middle...but that's not unusual in a lot of books. It took off at the beginning, and finished strong strong. I did get a very strong flavor of Mexico, and while not really interested in things Mexican, I could not help but be drawn into the whole atmosphere. I suggest it to anyone interested in adventure/fantasy. I'm waiting for the sequel

5.0 out of 5 stars Very well written 3 Jun 2008

Talon's work is a pleasurable work of 'historical' fiction. It captivates the reader from the first few pages and keeps the interest throughout the entirety of the book. The characters are created in a way as such the reader is able to really identify with each one of them. The book flows from scene to scene and event to event. Excellent, highly recommended work.
5.0 out of 5 stars What a journey! 20 Dec 2007

The Last Guardian of Mosh Chaltun

This book took me on an amazing mythical journey. It was both absorbing and intense. The descriptions are vivid, the pace never slows down but lingers to draw the characters. It was a most satisfying read.
