Music impresario Edgar Harding is no more. But how and why did he meet his end? Maybe the answer lies with Jack, arrogant and narcissistic vocalist with a new band Edgar was looking to sign. With its roots in the reality of today's pop world, the film takes a sharp detour into Machiavellian lies and deceit.
Set over three days, the new band experience the highs of success only to lose their grip a day later. They decide they must do whatever it takes to get it back, at a devastating personal cost to one of them.
The film has been hugely anticipated over the last year, largely due to the fact that it features Hollywood heartthrob Daniel Sharman. He plays the bass player in the band. The film was his feature film debut. Also featured is Carolynne Poole who was caught up in last year's X factor controversy when viewers witnessed a producer crawling on stage to speak to Louis Walsh during her sing off with Rylan Clarke, sparking rumours of a fix. 80's pop and style icon Jay Aston (Bucks Fizz) also gives an outstanding performance as an 80's star on the hunt for a comeback. The film touches on several dark issues from abuse to homophobia but still manages to maintain a sense of humor throughout. Soundtrack includes songs from Sam Brown, Natasha England, Jay Aston, Carolynne Poole and many more. BONUS FEATURES INCLUDE: Making of Feature, Cast Interviews, Trailer, Music Videos for: All These Years (featuring Daniel Sharman, Carolynne Poole, Richard Massara and Michael Gamarano), People Like Us (Featuring Carolynne Poole and Robert Bennie) and Rosie Banks (Featuring Jay Aston)
