Most Helpful Customer Reviews

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful By R. Uduwerage-Perera on 15 April 2008
Format: Paperback
As John Coxhead reiterates in this worthy book, Nelson Mandela once said, "People must learn to hate". John Coxhead's book is excellent, in outlining the simplicity of, and roots of the hatred that society still, to this day exhibits towards Romany Gypsies and other travelling communities.

The book goes on to further explain simple, pragmatic, but importantly robust ways in which to challenged the myths, that surround such communities, and hopefully start the process of dismantling the barriers of intolerance.

This book is a must for anyone wishing to further their knowledge and understanding, specifically for those employed in a practitioner or training role within ANY statutory agency.
