I am finance professional with a passion for fashion and currently a fashion student.
Would consider this book as only a coffee table book, as there are plenty good quality pictures, with vague explanation of the fashion design concepts. Some of the concepts (like ‘colour’) are huge topics to describe. In some cases, this book failed to give an idea of a concept as well. I reckon, the book is for advanced student, with the purpose to give a brief overview (not for professionals; they would know these concepts and have their own opinion/interpretation/understanding/ expression of each concept).

her design work is colorful and brilliant, drawing from African and Brazillian textiles.
I can't wait to read her book!!
