I confess to not having purchased or read Pavsic's awesome tome, but have a segment of the book which I've gone through.
The interested reader can certainly see several hundred pages explicitly on Google books, however the scrolling is difficult.
As a physicist interested in overarching, unifying principles, Pavsic's book is wonderful, in that as a distinguished researcher at the Josef Stefan Institute, he has distilled much of his highly technical research in Clifford algebras, branes, etc. into an easily readable format with a compelling theme, which entices the reader, & keeps their interest piqued. It is a pleasure to see someone strike off onto a research direction which is clearly a labor of love, rather than following one of the orthodox paths which have not really gotten anywhere. Searching under Pavsic, at: [...] reveals 42 papers, anyone of which will wet your appetite for more. In particular, see one which got me interested in his work: [...]
Sadly, Pavsic's book is published with an exorbitant price which will repel most readers, even libraries. One wonders why this publisher was selected, as they typically append very expensive prices for mathematical typesetting. If reading about cutting-edge theoretical physics by a first-class, unfettered mind is your thing, you will find all you can handle by Pavsic at the arxiv.
