This triple dvd boxset contains the first three films in the series.My children loved these and if you have never seen any of Littlefoot's adventures before you must have been living under a rock!!.
Litlefoot and his friends live in peaceful Great Valley and the films follow their adventures and high jinks.
Beautifully made and a thorough joy to watch-your small people will be absolutely enchanted.It may be the old fashioned animation and not the modern day computer graphics that they are used to but that won't bother them at all.
There are some extras and games but no subtitles.
Highly recommended.

This was requested by my 6yr.old Grandaughter and I was quite reluctant to buy it for a child who enjoys her own copy of 'When Dinosaurs Walked The Earth' and can roll off the names and descriptions of dozens of the creatures and spend hours peering at fossils at every opportunity. I assumed that she would be bored and think it too young. But I was very wrong. Children of this age seem able to switch between scientific and cartoon films without the slightest problem. As she patiently explained to me 'They are only pretend stories for children Nan. They are fun. The grown up films are what paleontologists' think that Dinosaurs were really like and they are important'. Well now I know!!!

In a moment of nostalgia I thought I'd treat myself to this collection. I absolutely loved this as a child and can't believe how much image quality has improved since then but nevertheless this is fantastic. A real childhood classic and something children will love. I really enjoyed watching again purely and it was great to see what I'd missed the first time around.
Definitely worth giving this a go if you haven't before - especially as a gift for small children as it's entirely lovable. I would consider it loosely educational based on the fact that dinosaur extinction is briefly covered and migration of animals is also seen quite a lot. Obviously parts aren't entirely realistic but they don't need to be in my opinion.

Amazing for kids!!

My 2 year old grandson absolutely loves these films, he has watched them over & over again. Keeps him amused for hours, consequently he now is in to dinosaurs 'BIG TIME'
