This book is essential reading for any parent who has a child with dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD. The information contained in the book is up to date, well researched study and easily read and understood by parents and professionals alike.
I appauld the work done by Dr. Stordy and many others mentioned in the book for bringing this vital information into the public arena. How I wish though that I had known about it 16 years ago when I had my 2 children very close together. From reading the chapters on pregnancy and breast feeding I understand now that perhaps my second child's problems are due to the fact that my body did not have time to replenish these essential fatty acids needed for good brain development in subsequent pregnancies. So I would also recomend this book to anyone considering or is already pregnant to ensure their diet is at optimum levels to aid development of their growing fetus.
Some of the testimonials from delighted parents contained in the book and the dramatic sounding title could sound too good to be true, but in fact I have seen exactly the same improvements in my children. I have had a copy of this book since it was published in the USA a couple of years ago and it has been passed round many friends who have also seen remarkable changes in their children.
Many parents whose children have learning problems often feel frustrated by the lack of help and support available. This book will help them to understand why these problems may have originated and then what to do about it. The list of further contacts and emails address's contained in the book is particulaly helpful.
