An excellent must have book for anyone interesting in health, mind and body.
The Kitchen Pharmacy deals with ailments and the natural foods and herbs used over the centuries to cure them. Symptoms are listed, with food cures.
This also is then translated to delicious recipes incorporating the food items - making health and well being fun in the kitchen and easy on the pocket!!

A gem of a book!

This is a little gem of a book. As far as I know it has not been translated into German or Italian... pity... it would make the perfect Christmas gift for my friends in Switzerland! The book discusses the properties of foods, which foods to eat or avoid in certain health conditions and recipes as well!! Great index, too, making it a very useful reference book indeed!
