I first heard 'The King's Collection' being played in a very small church in Ashford in the Water, in Derbyshire, being played by the ladies whilst they arranged the flowers and whilst they generally cleaned the church. It was one of those 'must have' moments.

Right from the start, this CD took me back to my childhood, with music that I had long forgotten. The music itself is timeless, and the singers, well, what could you say about them? They were brilliant. They made the music spine-tingling. To say that this CD was worth the money does not give enough credit to the whole production. It is recommended highly to anyone who loves classical music.

For a special lady on a special day. It was the perfect tribute to such excellent pieces of music. Quality recordings in such natural settings.

My original copy of this somehow got damaged so I was very pleased to find a replacement at a reasonable price. The delivery was a bit slow but that was Royal Mail rather than seller who kept in touch via email.
