There are so many stories in this collection you're sure to find something you like. In fact, the price is ridiculously low considering just how much you get.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Stories 17 Mar 2011
By June - Published on Amazon.com
    Format:Kindle Edition
I subscribed to the UK print version of this magazine in the 90's and I must say I'm glad to have the chance to reread the stories on the Kindle I got for Christmas.

Most of the stories are horror rather than sf or fantasy though there are a plenty of these too. However, the horror tag covers numerous types; humorous, supernatural, ghost stories and just plain weirdness. I'd say there was something for everyone.

The first story "Deep Blue" by Stephen Laws sets the bar high with an account of the last song written by Buddy Holly on his last aeroplane flight. Stephen Gallagher's story, "Poisoned" reminds us that going down a mine with a youg girl can only cause trouble. The list goes on and on. Great stories for a great price. I'm sure I'll be dipping in to it in many waiting rooms in the next few months.

The consistent quality of these stories is outstanding. Every one is well-written, compelling and leaves you wanting more. If you like this genera (or even if you don't and just look for good writing)these are examples of the very best writing out there and an excellent bargain.
