Was really looking forward to this installment and thankfully I wasn't let down. The twists and litle snippets of important information keep you turning page after page. Couldn't put this down and as usual wished it had never come to an end. However, I did feel that she rushed through the last few chapters to reach a conclusion. Never the less a really good read - look out Patricia Cornwell....you've met your match in Fairstein and Reichs.

Keep it up, please! 27 Feb 2004
Format:Hardcover
This is yet another great book from Linda Fairstein; she just keeps getting better and better.
All the usual characters were there and the new characters were well realised. The storyline varied in pace but never dragged and there were some cool plot twists (some of which are quite subtle but nonetheless surprising).
If you're looking for a good night's sleep this is not for you as you'll be up all night reading it til you've finished!

A Rollercoaster Ride 15 Feb 2005
By ph
Format:Paperback
Another gripping chapter in the lives of Mike Chapman, Mercer and Coop. As with all previous Fairstein novels this proved difficult to set down....resulting in many late nights. It leaves you wishing the next instalment would come quickly and of course that awful feeling that you wished it hadn't ended.
A definate for thriller fans - personally, much better than Cornwell or Patterson.
