Joe Cruzer says:
I'm in Canada. I waited to purchase the 3 seasons box and have began to watch the first season. Just finished viewing episode 6. I find there are similarities between this show and and the American made Twin Peaks which was created and aired in North America back in 1990 or 1991. Below are examples.

-Victim is a young girl. The mystery evolves around the young girl.
-The sotry involves a high school.
-The Killing involves city politics. Twin Peaks involves local community and business politics.

Those are what I've noticed so far.

Am I wrong? I hope I'm wrong. I want this show to be unique.

No spoilers please!
